Thank you for the lovely \"Concert of Compassion\" last March (2008) at the Sanders Theatre at Harvard University. Our guests keep asking me about you! A prominent piano teacher who was at the concert has made favorable remarks about your Ravel\'s and Chopin\'s interpretation. I\'m very happy for you! Keep up good work! Love.

Hello, i from Moscow. ;)

Mr Bengt Hultman
Dear Quynh Nguyen, have not heard your eminent pianoplaying of Clementi´s op 14 sonata. Here a little about myself. Since I was a teenager and my mother persuade me to begin playing piano( a little late I must say) I have been very interested in Muzio Clementi´s life and music. This was during the 1960th . That time it very a challenges to get music sheets and especially 78 rpm:s and Lp:s with his music. Nothing I could get in my hometown in Sweden and neither in our capital Stockholm except small editions. Very early I founded the Swedish Clementi Society and I have been it´s president since 1962. So from that time I and my brother tried to seek for Clementi´s music abroad and that was more successful. I got some rare recordings from USA and England both 78 rpm:s and Lp:s for instance H Samuels 78 rpm and R Kyriakou´s Lp with four piano sonatas. I also got both an Ep and Lp with Horowitz. As a matter of fact I also got letters personally from maestro W Horowitz( and other great pianists too like E Gilels, S Cherkassky,B Michelangelo and W Ashkenazi- but he is not playing Clementi or Italian music at all he said.) A turn point came when I came in touch with Das Clementi Archive in Holland and P Spada in Rome and after 1970th we have seen many new recordings. I got a scholarship from the government of Italy and spent 1 month of researching there during 1980th . And then I travelled to Germany,to England to go on find as much as I could. In London I meet some relatives to Clementi and visit that house he rent( or own). During the anniversary 2002 I met Dr Roberto Illiano and I also was acquainted to Massimilliano Sala and his twin brother. Andrea Coen also because he played the new discovered The Sprig of Shillelah, theme and variations for piano. I listen to many scientific results about Clementi. Another seminar took place in Rome also which I participate.Last year I visit R Illiano in Cremona two times and last year I participated in a seminar and that was great and the seminar was about the influenced of industrial revolution and the history of music. There I aslo met P Platinga and Dr. Rohan Stewart-MacDonald,whom gave me a signed copy of his new book. During all these years I have in my collection much of music sheets, but hundreds Lp:s,CD:s so I try to buy all new recordings I can get, and it must be very few I don´t have, most depending on lack of knowledge about it´s exciting. I also have some rare ones out of stock since many years. I also together with my twinbrother founded the Swedish Clementi Society 1962 still running, I am the chairman of that society. So whats your opinion about Clementi´s music? Do you plan for recordings of his sonatas? Have you looked at www.muzioclementi.com? I am looking forward to hear from you Sincerely yours Mr Bengt Hultman Armbågakroken 3A 90344 UMEÅ Sweden

Two years after having heard you perform Ravel at the Berlin Fulbright Conference in 2005, I still remember being moved to tears at the beauty and sensitivity of your playing. It will always be a special musical moment for me, and I thank you for it.

Your interpretation of Chopin's nocturne in E Flat Major is very unique. You are a great pianist. One of my classmates, David Newin, sent your site link to me since he knew that I am a classical music lover. Way to go Quynh! Bravo!

Hi, I am not a critic or a professional musician. I am just an old man who loves music who has heard a lot of musicians and much music. Your recital Saturday October 4 at Pickman Hall was magnificent. Your playing was deliciously delicate, enthusiastically energetic with precision, grace and elegance. You obviously love music. The fact that you are young and beautiful is (almost) irrelevant I hope that you will return to Boston soon so that more of the community can hear you. In fact, I hope that Victor talked you into moving here. I would love to hear you in Jordan Hall. Thank your mother for introducing herself to me. She is a wonderful woman and obviously loves you very much. Best wishes for continued success in your musical career and anything else you undertake. Your new fan, Myron Miller

You are such a marverlous pianist. Thanks to God for a talented person. I've popped in one of your CD, Schubert and Choplin, and it sounds like a master piece. If you come up with any releases, please let me know. Your album is priceless. Nuf said. btran@stbernard.com

Dear Quynh, I read the wonderful article about you in the Viet Tide magazine. My wife is from Viet Nam. She left right after the Communists won the war in 1975. We met at my office about a year later and married in 1977. I am a classical music lover. My CD collection is extremely varied and large. I was highly impressed by the comments made by Harris Goldsmith, a pianist himself and legendary critic. I first starting reading his reviews in the early 60's in High Fidelity Magazine (no longer in publication). Although he was most famous for his hero worship of conductor Arturo Toscanini, it was his piano reviews that I found most interesting. He just seemed to know more about the repetoire and how it should be played than anybody else. A good review by Mr. Goldsmith means an awful lot. We have many good recital series here in South Florida. It would really nice if your agent could sign you up. Like many others said, your website is outstanding. Keep up the good work and I hope to see you in performance in the near future. Harold Berman 10970 SW 48th Street Miami, FL 33165 305-270-9145

It's exciting for a music lover to find out about an artist who will have a great future. Quynh is definitely one of those artists. In the future, I'll be proud of myself that I found out about her so early!

Very impressive website. She is a young lady full of grace, incredible talent and a very bright future ahead of her. She is a role model for any young musician. She can teach them to "reach for the stars". I recently finished watching her new DVD. She is awesome!!!

What a great site! It's always encouraging for a veteran music lover to hear of a new master of the piano. From what I've heard, Ms. Nguyen has a great future ahead of her. I'll be visiting this website often!
